Are you a Kumihimo fan?

Kumihimo is a Japanese form of braid-making. Cords and ribbons are made by interlacing strands of thread.  Kumi himo is Japanese for "gathered threads". Here are some of the exquisite patterns you can form.

Kumihimo can be done in the traditional way using a marudai (stool) and weights or by the easier method using a Kumihimo disc.

Using a disc, means the tension is easily maintained which results in lots of fun!  We have a great range of threads, discs, no tangle thread bobbins, weights, end caps, bails, books and more!  And with Christmas just around the corner the kits make a great gift idea!  And the icing on the cake is we have 25% off all Kumihimo supplies until 21st December.

More ideas..
